We collect information you voluntarily provide when you:

• Submit a contact form (first name, last name, job title, company, phone number, email address, and message)
• Subscribe to our newsletter (first name, last name, and email address)
• Register for a webinar (first name, last name, work email, company, optional job title, newsletter preference, and any optional consent to share registration details with a named co-host)
• Request an editable resource (first name, work email, organization, optional role, the topic being reviewed, and timing)
• Request a vendor shortlist (contact information, technology category, outcome, integrations, timing, budget status, and vendors under consideration)
• Apply for a position through our careers form (first name, last name, email address, phone number, position of interest, resume, and message)

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Site, our hosting provider (Netlify) may automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited. When you submit a form, we may also record the landing page, referring page, and campaign parameters present in the page URL so we can understand how the request reached us and route it appropriately.

For resource, shortlist, contact, and webinar requests, we assign a simple lead score and classification based on the request type, timing, evaluation stage, and budget status you provide. We use this information to prioritize human review and response timing. It is not used to make a solely automated decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request
• Deliver requested workbooks, templates, and other resources
• Review and respond to vendor evaluation, renewal, procurement, and shortlist requests
• Prioritize human follow-up based on the request type and timing you provide

Service Providers and Vendor Sharing

Our Site is hosted on Netlify, which processes site traffic and form submissions on our behalf. Resend processes Threat Watch subscriptions, webinar confirmations, calendar invitations, and other requested email delivery. Calendly provides scheduling on the contact page and when a scheduling button is opened. We may pass source, campaign, solution or partner context, and a pseudonymous submission identifier that does not itself contain contact details to Calendly through tracking fields so a booked meeting can be connected to the originating request. These providers process information to provide their services to Harborcoat and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

We do not sell personal information or automatically pass resource and shortlist requests to technology vendors. Shortlist recommendations may include vendors with which Harborcoat has a reseller, referral, marketplace, or other commercial relationship; Harborcoat will identify a relevant relationship before procurement. If a co-branded campaign involves sharing information with a named vendor, the page will identify that vendor and request separate consent before sharing.

For a co-hosted webinar, you may register without agreeing to partner follow-up. We share registration details with the named co-host only when you select the separate sharing option on that webinar's registration form.

Cookies and Tracking

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or cookies for cross-site advertising. Netlify may process server logs for security, performance, and aggregate site reporting. Calendly may set cookies or use similar technologies when its scheduling experience loads. Essential cookies may also be set by hosting infrastructure for security and performance purposes.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our Site uses HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to administer an event, deliver the requested resource, review and respond to the inquiry, maintain the relevant business relationship, process an application, or meet legal and operational requirements. Webinar registration records are retained for event operations and reasonable post-event follow-up. Newsletter subscription records are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to the limited records needed to honor that request.
